Councilman Robert J. Considine <br /> <br />Mayor George L. Forman <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT : <br /> <br />Councilmen Arth, Butterworth, Considine, Rage, Forman <br />None <br /> <br />, <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of June 21, 1966 were APPROVED on <br />MOTION by Councilman Butterworth, seconded by Councilman Hage and <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The Planning Director explained that by Resolution No. 594 the <br />Planning Commission had granted a conditional use permit to the Union <br />Oil Company to allow the expansion of an existing service station at <br />11 E. Live Oak Avenue upon conditions specified therein; that the <br />Commission recommended the waiving of Arcadia Municipal Code Sections <br />9273.4.9,. Part 1 Section 9275.4.11, Part 4 Section 9275.4.11 and <br />Section 9275.4.16 as the size, shape and location of the existing <br />facilities make the application of all of the Code requirements <br />governing drive-in businesses inappropriate or inapplicableG <br /> <br />It was MOVED by Councilman Hage, seconded by Councilman Considine <br />and carried unanimously that the City Council waive the provisions <br />of Code Sections as listed above, such waiver to become effective <br />c~ncurrent with the effective date of the Conditional Use Permit. <br />Councilman Arth did not participate in the discussion or the vote <br />due to his affiliation with the Union Oil Company. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission recommended approval of the tentative map of <br />Tract No. 27195 - Oakhaven Road extension. It was noted that this <br />subdivision 'tract map was originally approved by both the Commission <br />and the City Council in July of 1963; that the time period between <br />said approval of the tentative map and recordation of the final map <br />has expired, consequently another approval is required. <br /> <br />Upon being advised that there are no significant changes in the maps, <br />it was MOVED by Councilman Butterworth, seconded by Councilman Arth <br />and carried unanimously that tentative map of Tract No. 27195 be <br />approved subject to conditions imposed on the original approval <br />(Report of April 17, 1963). <br /> <br />It was MOVED by Councilman Considine, seconded by Councilman Hage and <br />carried unanimously that a public hearing be scheduled for July 19, <br />1966 at 8 P.M. on the appeal filed by the Harbor Service Stations, <br />Inc., from the decision of the Planning Commission in its denial of <br /> <br />L <br /> <br />7-5-66 <br />
