Reibold <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Councilmen Balser, Considine, Forman, Turner, Reibold <br />None <br /> <br />MINUTE <br />APPROVAL <br />(12-21-65) <br /> <br />On MOTION by Councilman Turner, seconded by Councilman Forman and <br />carried unanimously the Minutes of the regular meeting of <br />December 21, 1965 were APPROVED. <br /> <br />HEARING <br />(Tierney) <br /> <br />Mayor Reibold declared the hearing open on the application for a <br />business permit of Francis X. Tierney, dba Arcadia Gardens Miniature <br />Golf, 135 E. Live Oak Avenue, and acknowledged the presence of the <br />new owner, Mr. Tierney. <br /> <br />.J- if I <br /> <br />No one desiring to speak to the matter the hearing was CLOSED on <br />MOTION by Councilman Considine, seconded by Councilman Balser and <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />It was noted by the City Manager that there is presently a barricade <br />at the end of the driveway leading into an alley which is under <br />construction; that it will be from 60 to 90 days before completion. <br />It was then MOVED by Councilman Considine, seconded by Councilman <br />Balser and carried unanimously that a business permit be issued said <br />applicant upon the condition that the barricade be removed. <br /> <br />/, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />s~ <br /> <br />The City Manager explored his report dated December 21, 1965 <br />recommending improvements in the water supply system to assure a <br />continuation of a safe and drinkable water supply. The report <br />indicated the water level fluctuations from 1960 through 1965. <br />advised that a complete study of the equipment needed at eleven <br />^ ~ocations revealed an estimated cost of the installation of <br />~/~ chlorinization treatment equipment at $87,100 with $70,600 for <br />uJ~y equipment and $16,500 for housing of the equipment. <br /> <br />He <br /> <br />WATER <br />CHLORINIZATION <br /> <br />On MOTION by Councilman Balser, seconded by Councilman Turner and <br />carried on roll call as follows the City Manager and the Water <br />Superintendent were authorized to proceed with plans for housing <br />and equipment and to submit the bids to City Council when received: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Councilmen Balser, Considine, Forman, Turner, Reibold <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />1- 4- 66 <br />
