REPORT FROM CITY ATTORNEY REGARDING CLOSED/STUDY SESSION ITEMS <br /> Assistant City Attorney Michael Maurer announced that prior to the regular meeting, the City <br /> Council met in a Study Session to receive a report from staff regarding the Downtown Arcadia <br /> Parking Study; he reported that Mayor Verlato recused herself due to a conflict of interest of <br /> owning real property in the project area, and that Mayor Pro Tem Chandler conducted the <br /> meeting; he stated that a PowerPoint presentation was given by Gibson Transportation <br /> Consulting, and that the presentation discussed the potential impacts related to the Gold Line <br /> Station initiating a parking fee beginning June 3, including the potential short and long term <br /> strategies for the City to undertake to deal with the impacts from that mitigation. <br /> 6. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FROM CITY MANAGER REGARDING AGENDA <br /> ITEMS <br /> City Manager Lazzaretto announced that there was no supplemental information to report. <br /> 7. MOTION TO READ ALL ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS BY TITLE ONLY AND <br /> WAIVE THE READING IN FULL <br /> A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Chandler, and seconded by Council Member Amundson <br /> to read all ordinances and resolutions by title only and waive the reading in full. <br /> 8. PRESENTATIONS <br /> a. Presentation of the Mayor's Cup Trophy to the Development Services Department for <br /> winning the 2019 Santa Anita Derby Day 5K. <br /> 9. PUBLIC HEARING <br /> a. Addition to the Statement of Objectives and Projects for use of Community <br /> Development Block Grant("CDBG")funds for Fiscal Year 2019-20 to make bus/transit <br /> stop ADA improvements, and Memorandum of Understanding with the Los Angeles <br /> County Community Development Commission. <br /> Recommended Action: Approve <br /> Deputy Director of Development Services/City Engineer Wray presented the staff report. <br /> Mayor Verlato opened the Public Hearing. No one appeared. <br /> A motion to close the public hearing was made by Mayor Pro Tem Chandler, seconded by Council <br /> Member Tay, and seeing no objection, Mayor Verlato declared the public hearing closed. <br /> It was moved by Mayor Pro Tern Chandler, seconded by Council Member Tay, and carried on roll <br /> call vote to approve the addition to the Statement of Objectives and Projects for use of Community <br /> Development Block Grant ("CDBG") funds for Fiscal Year 2019-20 to make bus/transit stop ADA <br /> improvements, and Memorandum of Understanding with the Los Angeles County Community <br /> Development Commission. <br /> AYES: Chandler, Tay, Amundson, Beck, and Verlato <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> 2 05-21-2019 <br />
