Item (c)was continued to after the Regular City Council Meeting. <br /> The Closed Session meeting recessed at 6:55 p.m. to allow for the Regular City Council <br /> Meeting. <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> 7:00 p.m. <br /> CALL TO ORDER β€” Mayor Amundson called the regular meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. <br /> INVOCATION β€” Pastor George Hooper, Church of the Good Shephard <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE β€” David Vannasdall, Superintendent, Arcadia Unified School <br /> District <br /> ROLL CALL OF CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> PRESENT: Beck, Chandler, Verlato, Tay, and Amundson <br /> ABSENT: <br /> REPORT FROM CITY ATTORNEY REGARDING CLOSED/STUDY SESSION ITEMS <br /> City Attorney Deitsch reported that prior to the regular meeting, the City Council met in a Study <br /> Session to receive a report from staff, and discuss the proposed Operating Budget for Fiscal <br /> Years 2018-2020, and proposed Capital Improvement and Equipment Plan for Fiscal years <br /> 2018-2023. <br /> City Attorney Deitsch further reported that after the Study Session, the City Council convened to <br /> a Closed Session to consider Item (b) on the posted agenda regarding pending litigation, no <br /> reportable action was taken; he indicated that there was no need for the City Council to consider <br /> Item (a), and recommended the City Council recess after the Regular Meeting to a continued <br /> Closed Session to consider Item (c) on the posted agenda. <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FROM CITY MANAGER REGARDING AGENDA ITEMS <br /> City Manager Lazzaretto stated that resident Joyce Platt asked for a modification to the April 24, <br /> 2018, City Council minutes (Page 5) to change the word in her comments from "reflect" to <br /> "respect", and recommended that correction by made when adopting the minutes. <br /> MOTION TO READ ALL ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS BY TITLE ONLY AND WAIVE <br /> THE READING IN FULL <br /> It was moved by Mayor Pro Tem Tay, and seconded by Council Member Chandler to read all <br /> ordinances and resolutions by title only and waive the reading in full. <br /> 2 05-15-2018 <br />
