Rage <br /> <br />Councilman C. Robert Arth <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Councilmen Arth, Considine, Rage, Helms, Butterworth <br />None <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilman Considine, seconded by Councilman Arth and carried <br />unanimously that the following minutes be approved: <br /> <br />Regular Meetings <br />Adjourned Regular Meetings <br />Special Meeting <br /> <br />January 19, February 2 <br />January 27, February 1 <br />February 5, 1971 <br /> <br />HEARING Planning Commission recommendation that the width of automobile parking <br />(Parking stalls be increased to nine feet except in Residential, C-M and M zones. <br />Stalls) The Planning Director explained that a survey revealed the average width <br />t. . of a car was 6' 6" and the maximum width 6' 8" and that the Commission felt <br />(7/ 7_~'1hairPin markings of a minimum of 2' would aid the driver in parking. <br /> <br />j~ J Mayor Butterworth declared the hearing open and no one desiring to be heard <br />, the hearing was CLOSED On MOTION by Councilman Considine, seconded by <br />~,(t~11(, Councilman Rage and carried unanimously. This matter had been continued pending the results of a <br />soil test now underway in the area, hence it will be before Council on <br />March 16. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission it was MOVED by Councilman <br />Considine, seconded by Councilman Arth and carried unanimously that the <br />tentative map of Tract No. 29693 (condominium at 1136 Arcadia Avenue) be <br />APPROVED subject to all conditions specified by the Commission, the Water <br />Department and the Department of Public Works. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Personnel Board it was MOVED by Councilman Considine, <br />seconded by Councilman Arth and carried on roll call vote as follows that the <br /> <br />2-16-71 <br /> <br />- 1 - <br />
