<br />I"" '^" <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />21:8758 <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA <br /> <br />ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />APRIL 15, 1975 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Arcadia, met in adjourned regular <br />session on April 15, 1975 at 7 p.m. in the City Hall Conference <br />Room. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Council Members Gilb, Helms, Lauber, Saelid, Scott <br />None <br /> <br />Council reviewed the agenda for the regular meeting to convene this <br />date at 7:30 p.m. The City Manager explained the various items and <br />responded to questions. <br /> <br />Discussion held on presentation of pins to the various Boards and/or <br />Commissions. <br /> <br />Sign Ordinance explored. <br /> <br />Staff will investigate a complaint concerning a Floral Cart Display <br />in front of a store in a shopping center on Foothill Boulevard. <br /> <br />Some discussion on the annexation of the Anoakia area along with <br />spheres of influence relating to other areas as recommended by the <br />Local Agency Formation Commission, <br /> <br />Advice that a petitipn had been received from residents on Oxford and <br />Cambridge Drives concerning installation of sidewalks. This will be <br />discussed in the forthcoming regular meeting at the time the sidewalk <br />program is considered. <br /> <br />Councilman Gilb referred to action taken at the last regular meeting <br />concerning the keeping of a scrap book during a given year and pre- <br />sented to the outgoing Mayor at the end of his term. He submitted <br />that inasmuch as it would place an extra burden on staff he felt it <br />should be reconsidered. Whereupon it was MOVED by Mayor Scott, <br />seconded by Councilwoman Lauber and carried unanimously that the <br />matter be reconsidered. It was then MOVED by Councilman Saelid, <br />seconded by Councilwoman Lauber and carried unanimously, with the <br />exception of Councilman Helms who abs tained as he was absent when the <br />original action was taken, that the action be RESCINDED. <br /> <br />", <br /> <br />Councilman Gilb expressed appreciation for the many kindnesses extended <br />to him during his recent illness. <br /> <br />At 7:29 p.m. the meeting adjourned sine die. <br /> <br />~~I <br /> <br />Mayor ~ <br /> <br /> <br />""", ~ <br />~/~~ _.
