Scott <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Council Members Gilb, Helms, Lauber, Scott <br />Councilman Saelid <br /> <br />On MOTION by Councilman Helms, seconded by Councilwoman Lauber and <br />carried unanimously Councilman Saelid was excused from attending this <br />meeting. <br /> <br />On MOTION by Councilman Gilb, seconded by Councilman Helms and carried <br />unanimously the minutes of the regular meeting of February 4, 1975 were <br />APPROVED. <br /> <br />Mayor Scott announced that the following two agenda items will be <br />referred: <br /> <br />1. Variance request for installation of a composition roof at 848 <br />Coronado Drive. Referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />2. Text amendment relating to parking stall size marking and space <br />requirements in the Community~Commercial (C-C) zone. Referred to the <br />Parking Place Commission. <br /> <br />This being the time and place scheduled by Resolution No. 4476 to hear <br />objections to the proposed removal of weeds and rubbish Mayor Scott <br />declared the hearing open. Mrs. Edith Dunn, 101 W. Palm Drive, was' <br />advised on certain AMC sections relating to dumping and on the weed <br />abatement program in general. No one else desiring to be heard the <br />hearing was CLOSED on MOTION by Councilman Gilb, seconded by <br />Councilman Helms and carried unanimously. On further MOTION by. <br />Councilman Gilb, seconded by Councilwoman Lauber' and carried unani- <br />mously the Agricultu ral Commissioner of Los Angeles County was <br />instructed to proceed with the abatement of weeds or dry grass, <br />stubble, refuse or other flammable material upon and in front of <br />certain private property in the City. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Resolution No. 880 granting a conditional use <br />permit to expand an auto body shop at 412 N. First Avenue. Council <br />considered various aspects of the permit noting that the location is <br />proper for the proposed use, there is adequate parking, loading, <br />landscaping as required. All vehicles and work will be stored and <br />repaired inside the building and the noise level shall conform to all <br />performance standards of the M-l Planned Industrial District Zone. It <br />was MOVED by Councilman Gilb, seconded by Councilwoman Lauber and <br />carried on roll call vote as follows that the proposed expansion will <br />not have a substantial adverse impact on the environment and that the <br /> <br />2-l8-75 <br /> <br />- 1 - <br />
