Battalion Fire Chief Dick and Captain Gardner were present to answer <br />1974-75 questions. No one wishing to be heard Councilman Sae1id MOVED and Council- <br />:t/;/'OL/ ~man Helms seconded and carried unanimously the Public Hearing be closed. <br /> <br />It was further MOVED by Councilwoman Lauber, seconded by Councilman Saelid <br />and carried unanimously that charges as listed be APPROVED. <br /> <br />CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT <br />Gymnastics <br />School <br /> <br />IP;~ <br /> <br /> <br />YOUTH <br />COMMISSION <br /> <br />1\ : [OlAtt\ <br /><J!f -, ~o\,. <br /> <br />Planning Director William Woolard was excused. The City Manager explained <br />Planning Commission Resolution No. 858 granting a conditional use permit to <br />operate a gymnastics school at 142 W, Live Oak, Planning Commission recom- <br />mended the permit be approved subject to conditions set forth in said reSo- <br />lution. <br /> <br />Councilman Helms MOVED, seconded by Councilwoman Lauber and carried unani- <br />mously to APPROVE Planning Commission Resolution No, 858 and instructed <br />the City Attorney to prepare the necessary resolution, <br /> <br />Liz Pendo, 886 Fallen Leaf Road, Foothill Jr, High Vice Chairman for the <br />Youth Commission read a communication requesting the approval by the Council <br />to develop and implement a Youth in Government Day during the 1974-75 school <br />year for students attending Arcadia High School. She continued students <br />would gain valuable experience working with various City officials and De- <br />partment heads for one day. She stated Dan Anderson, Assistant Principal <br />at the Arcadia High School indicated a willingness to permit students in <br />civic classes to participate. <br /> <br />8-6-74 <br /> <br />- 1 - <br />
