O'Keefe, ChLlrch of Holy Angels <br /> <br />Arcadia Boy SCOLlt Troop <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />COLlncilmen Arth, Helms, Scott, Hage <br />Councilman Butterworth <br /> <br />On MOTION by COLlncilman Arth, seconded by COLlncilman Helms and carried <br />unanimously the minutes of the regular meeting of December 5 were <br />APPROVED. <br /> <br />On MOTION by COLlncilman Arth, seconded by COLlncilman Helms and carried <br />unanimously Councilman Butterworth was excused from this meeting. <br /> <br />Proposed UndergroLlnd Utilities District No. 6 - Campus Drive between <br />Holly Avenue to Santa Anita Avenue. This is the scheduled time for <br />determining whether there is need for such District which would require <br />the removal of poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures <br />and the underground installation of wires and facilities for supplying <br />electric, communication or similar or associated service within the <br />district. No one desired to be heard and the hearing was CLOSED on <br />MOTION by Councilman Scott, seconded by Councilman Helms and carried <br />unanimously. It was MOVED by Councilman Helms, seconded by Councilman <br />Arth and carried unanimously that the appropriate resolution be ADOPTED. <br />(Res. No. 4312 adopted later in this meeting.) <br /> <br />Later in the meeting J. Paul Geare and Mrs. Nancy Moore, 300 and 308 <br />Campus Drive respectively, were informed that the installation of under- <br />ground utilities in Campus Drive would not affect their properties - <br />that the project does not involve any of the abutting residential <br />properties between the Arcadia Wash and Holly Avenue - that the only <br />properties which will incur costs will be the School District, County <br />Parks and Recreation and the ChLlrch of the Holy Angels. <br /> <br />On December 5 Council adopted Resolution No. 4308 declaring that rubbish <br />and refuse upon private property (112 N. Santa Anita Avenue and 1, 7 and <br />9 ~ast Foothill Boulevard) is a public nuisance and declaring intention to <br />abate the same. At that time a public hearing was scheduled for this date. <br />Mayor Hage declared the hearing open. No one desiring to be heard it was <br />the consensus of Council that the matter be continued to the regular <br />meeting of January 16, 1973 in order to make certain the property owner <br />received notice of this hearing. Staff will make special endeavor in <br />this regard. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Resolution No. 795 recommended amendments to the <br />modification provisions of the zoning ordinance and a public hearing was <br />scheduled before Council at this time. Mayor Hage declared the hearing <br />open and no one desiring to be heard the hearing was CLOSED ON MOTION by <br />Councilman Helms, seconded by Councilman Arth and carried unanimously. <br />Council indicated its desire for more time to study the recommendations <br />and the matter was continued to January 2, 1973. <br /> <br />12-19-72 <br /> <br />- 1 - <br />
