<br />CITY COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS ARE TAPE RECORDED AND ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLER~ <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF <br />ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />MINUTE <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />19: 8132 <br /> <br />MINUT,ES <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />AUGUST 15, 1972 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Arcadia, California, met in regular <br />session on Tuesday, August 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber of <br />, <br />the Arcadia City Hall. <br /> <br />Rabbi Irwin Cutler, Foothill Jewish Temple <br /> <br />Mayor Don W, Hage <br /> <br />PRESENT: 'Councilmen Arth, Butterworth, Hage <br />ABSENT: Councilmen Helms, Scott (officially excused) <br /> <br />On MOTION by Councilman Arth, seconded by Councilman Butterworth and <br />carried unanimously the minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of <br />July 27 and the regular meeting of August 1, 1972 were APPROVED. <br /> <br />Planning Commission recommendation (Resolution No, 788) for amendments <br />to the sign regulations in residential zones. The City Attorney <br />explained the intent of the resolution and Mayor Hage declared the <br />hearing open. Baldwin Avenue and at 653 Fairview Avenue, Followin~ review <br />of projecturals, indicating the surrounding zoning and improvements, it <br />was MOVED by Councilman Butterworth, seconded by Councilman Arth and <br />carried unanimously that the action of the Commission be RATIFIED and <br />that the applicant comply with conditions of approval as set forth in <br />said resolution. <br /> <br />Planning Commission recommended approval of tentative map of Tract No. <br />28200 for a 13 unit condominium at 917 W. Duarte Road subject to <br />conditions, Comprehensive report dated August 8 on file in the office <br />of the City Clerk, Following review of projecturals, indicating <br />surrounding zoning and improvements, it was MOVED by Councilman Arth, <br />seconded by Councilman Butterworth and carried unani- <br />m ous ly that the tentative map of Tract No. 28200 be APPROVED subject <br />to compliance with conditions imposed by the Commission, the Department <br />of Public Works and the Water Department, <br /> <br />The Planning Commission recommended'approval of Tract No, 30163 for a <br />22 lot subdivision at 950-1030, W. Foothill Boulevard subject to <br />specified conditions. Council reviewed projecturals which indicated <br />the proposal to construct two cul-de-sac streets south of Foothill <br />Boulevard, each about 320' in length with a 60' street right-of-way <br />and an 80' cul-de-sac right-of-way.
