Mr. Jacobs recommended that <br />the date of March 31, 1978 be indicated as the last day for this <br />to be accomplished. It was MOVED by Coun~il Hember Parry, <br />seconded by Council Member Lauber and carried on roll call vote <br />as follows that the deadline"be extended to March 31, 1978 and <br />that the settlement agreement be thus approved. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Council Members Gilb, Lauber, Margett, Parry, Saelid <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />The City Attorney will keep the City Council informed on this matter. <br /> <br />Discussion held on the contents of a letter from Mrs. Johanna Hofer <br />concerning many items. This was read in full by Mrs. Hofer at the <br />City Council meeting of January 17, 1978. <br /> <br />The City Council received a letter for information only concerning <br />traffic conditions at Colorado Boulevard and San Antonio Road. <br /> <br />On MOTION by Council Member Parry, seconded by Council Member <br />Margett and carried unanimously the resignation of William Kuyper <br />from the Planning Commission was accepted with regret. <br /> <br />Agenda items for the regular meeting to be held this date explored. <br /> <br />Communication from the City of Rolling Hills Estates concerning <br />the Regional Housing Allocation Model prepared by the Southern <br />California Association of Governments and asking the City to oppose <br />this and ask SCAG to re-evaluate the methodology utilized in the <br />preparation of the allocation model. It was"MOVED by Council <br />Member Gilb, seconded...by Council Member Parry and carried unani- <br />mously that a response be made and signed by the Mayor in support <br />of the request of Rolling Hills Estates. <br /> <br />Communication from the City of El Monte concerning applications <br />before the Public Utility Commission for rate increases by several <br />utility companies. It was MOVED by Council Member Lauber, seconded <br />by Council Member Gilb and carried unanimously that a letter be <br />directed to' the Public Utility Commission in opposition to the <br />magnitude of utility rate increases. <br /> <br />- I - <br /> <br />2-7-78 <br />
