Huntington Drive <br />b, Golden Age Club - 100 S, Santa Anita Avenue <br />c. Senior Friendship Club - 100 S. Santa Anita Avenue <br /> <br />Mayor Saelid declared the hearings open and no one desiring to <br />speak concerning any of the above it was MOVED by Member Gilb, <br />seconded by Member Parry and carried unanimously that the hearings <br />be CLOSED, It was further MOVED by Member Gilb, seconded by Member <br />Lauber and carried unanimously that all three applications be <br />APPROVED and licenses issued therefor. <br /> <br />JOINT MEETING BETWEEN THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE ARCADIA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />PROPOSED SALE <br />& DEVELOPMENT <br />111-125 w. Pi. <br /> <br />11--11.N <br />~ <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />This public hearing was scheduled to consider a proposed sale and <br />development agreement relating to property commonly known as <br />111-125 W, Huntington Drive and 135 Colorado Place, The Economic <br />Coordinator explained in detail the background of this proposed <br />project which has taken over a year's effort to l~cate an appropri- <br />ate site for the Engineering-Science, Inc, The proposed use of <br />office building is in compliance with the City's General Plan, All <br />reports relating hereto have be,en..on file for review pursuant to a <br />published notice. A Negative Declnation of Envirorunental Impact <br />has been prepared along with a Disposition and Development Agreement. <br /> <br />Bruce Balmer, Special Counsel for the Agency, read into the record <br />the following proposed changes in the Agreement. <br /> <br />Page 2, Section 104, The Site: A preliminary title report has <br />been received with respect to the site and a legal description <br />has been attached to the Agreement identified as Attachment loA. <br />A third paragraph has been added to this Section indicating that <br />the Agency will exercise reasonable diligence to acquire the <br />properties which comprise the site by negotiation with the present <br />owners. <br /> <br />Page 3, Section 202 - Escrow: Address of Title Insurance and Trust <br />Company has been deleted. <br /> <br />Page 7, Section 204 - Form of Deed: The Deed contains covenant <br />conditions, restrictions that are specifically set forth in the <br />Agreement including restrictions on the use of the property, anti- <br />discrimination provisions, right of reverter if the developer does <br />not perform under the contract after the land has been conveyed <br />to him, etc. <br /> <br />12-20-77 <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />- 1 - <br />
