<br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />ITRACT <br />O. 32493 <br />Improvements / <br />Accepted V <br /> <br />TRACT <br />NO. 34123 <br />TIlNTA TI VE <br />MAP <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />RJ>TIREMENT <br />(COYLE) <br /> <br />RJ>SOLUTION <br />NO. 4695 <br />ADOPTED <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />,,-4..;7.):1..) <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL AND THE ARCADIA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />DECEMBER 19, 1977 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Arcadia, met in adjourned <br />regular session on December 19, 1977 at 4 p.m. in the Arcadia <br />City Hall Council Chamber. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Council Members Gilb, Lauber, Margett, Parry, Saelid <br />None <br /> <br />Staff advised that the improvements in Tract No. 32493 have <br />been completed in accordance with all conditions imposed by the <br />Planning Commission and the City Council, It was MOVED by <br />Council Member Gilb, seconded by Council Member Parry and carried <br />unanimously that the streets in said tract be accepted for <br />maintenance by the City. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Council Members Gilb., Lauber, Harget.t, Parry, Sael1d <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />The Planning Commission submitted its recommendation for approval <br />of the tentative map of Tract No. 34123 for an 18 unit condominium <br />at 460-466 Fairview Avenue subject to specified conditions (see <br />staff report this date), It was MOVED by Council Member Hargett, <br />seconded by Council Member Gilb and carried unanimously that the <br />recommendation be APPROVED; that Council approve the Negative <br />Declaration and find that the project will not have a significant <br />effect on the environment; that the tract is consistent with the <br />General Plan and that the waste discharge from said tract will not <br />result in a violation of the existing requirements set forth in the <br />Water Code and that the Director of Public Works be AUTIIORIZED to <br />approve the subdivision agreement for this tract. <br /> <br />/ The City Council received an application for non-industrial disa- <br />bility retirement for Joseph Coyle, Fire Inspector, to be effective <br />February I, 1978. Mr. Coyle will have completed twenty-two years <br />of service with the City. Council expressed regret and adopted the <br />following resolution. <br /> <br />EQUIPMENT <br />PURCHASE <br />(WATERMETERS) <br />'" <br />f,'. ~D I <br />II) } I' 1\ <br />r JI <br /> <br />The City Attorney presented, explained the content and read the <br />title of Resolution No. 4695, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />, ~COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF ARCADIA APPROVING APPLICATION OF JOSEPH <br />V CHARLES COYLE FOR NON-INDUSTRIAL DISABILITY RETIREMENT," <br /> <br />It was MOVED by Council Member Parry, seconded by Council Member <br />Hargett and carried on roll call vote as follows that the reading <br />of the full text be waived and that the same be ADOPTED, <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Council Members Gilb, Lauber, Hargett, Parry, Saelid <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Staff submitted the results,of bids received and recommendation for <br />the purchase of 815 water meters of various sizes to cover the annual <br />meter replacement program and for new installations. Staff report <br />dated December 13 reflected the lowest bid, meeting the specifications, <br />to be from Rockwell International and recommended the purchase <br />therefrom. Whereupon it was MOVED by Council Member Gilb, seconded <br />by Council Member Parry and carried on roll call vote as follows <br />that said meters be purchased from Rockwell International in the <br /> <br />12-19-77 <br /> <br />- 1 - <br />
