<br />,~ <br /> <br />I "" = <br /> <br />TRACT <br />NO. 33724 <br />Final Map <br />APpro~ed, j <br />P: ~lj-oA \r <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE <br />SESSION <br /> <br />I ~,oow~ <br /> <br />VARTANIAN <br />MATTER <br /> <br />/fR-fr r>-~ 1 <br />/'"... <br />';y I t;; t "1 <br /> <br />~"~ <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />-. <br /> <br />22:9391 <br />, <br /> <br />M I NUT E S <br /> <br />ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL AND THE ARCADIA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />DECEMBER 8, 1977 <br /> <br />The City Council and the Arcadia Redevelopment Agency met in <br />an adjourned regular session on December 8, 19.7] ;at. 4 p.m. <br />in the City Hall Conference Room. <br /> <br />,\' <br /> <br />~. <br />,.. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Members Gilb, Margett, Parry, Saelid <br />Member Lauber <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />On MOTION by Member Gilb, seconded by Member Parry and carried <br />unanimously Member Lauber was excused. <br /> <br />The Acting City Manager distributed the audit as prepared by the <br />independent auditors, Lance, SolI & Lunghard, for the Arcadia <br />Redevelopment Agency. <br /> <br />Also distributed were the San Gabriel Valley Newsletter, a <br />communication directed to a Mr. Woods concerning the Hastings <br />Theatre, the Minutes of the Sound Wall sub-committee and a list <br />from the Recreation Commission of items to be included in the <br />time capsule for the Bicentennial Park. <br /> <br />On MOTION by Member Margett, seconded by Member Gilb and carried <br />unanimously the final map of Tract No. 33724, 1212-1218 S. First <br />Avenue, for a 7 lot subdivision, was APPROVED. <br /> <br />The Economic Coordinator stated in part that some time ago he had <br />advised the City Council of interest in property at the northeast <br />corner of First and Wheeler; that now another interest had come to <br />him to construct an office building as headquarters for HTL <br />Industries and for a building designer. Plot plans were reviewed <br />and the surrounding improvements were explored. Parking would be <br />more than adequate. The use is consistent with the General Plan <br />which indicates the area for office use. This matter will be <br />presented in detail to Council on December 20. <br /> <br />At 4:40 p.m. the City Council and the Agency entered an executive <br />session with Eugene Jacobs, Special Counsel for the Redevelopment <br />Agency. <br /> <br />The City Council and the Agency reconvened at 5:20 p.m. <br /> <br />It waS MOVED by <br />carried on roll <br />settlement with <br /> <br />Member Gilb, seconded by Member Margett and <br />call vote as follows that the terms of the <br />Richard Vartanian be and they are hereby APPROVED. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Gilb, Lauber, Marg~tt, Parry, Saelid <br /> <br />Members <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />ARA & CITY COUNCIL <br />12-8-77 <br /> <br />- 1 - <br />
