Counc1lman Reibold seconded the mot10n and <br />1t was carr1ed unanimously. <br /> <br />The City Attorney presented for the second time, discussed and <br />read Ordinance No. lUll:l, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNLA, RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN <br />REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF SECOND AVENUE NEAR <br />LIVE OAK AVENUE IN 'SAID CITY FROM ZONE C-l TO ZONE R-3." <br /> <br />He added that this is a small triangular parcel of land <br />previously zoned C-l and resulted from a lot split that had been <br />granted in the area; that one of the conditions of the lot split <br />had been that the Planning Commission would take action to re- <br />classify said portion of the property from C-l to R-3, making <br />it consistent with the lot next door north owned 9Y the same <br />owner. <br /> <br />Councilman Balser moved that the reading of the full body of <br />Ordinance No. 1018 be waived, which motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Jacobi and carried on roll call vote as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Balser, Jacobi, Reibold, Phillips <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Camphouse <br /> <br />Councilman Balser further moved that Ordinance No. 1018 be <br />adopted. Said motion seconded by Councilman Jacobi and carried <br />on roll call vote as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Balser, Jacobi, Reibold, Phillips <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Camphouse <br /> <br />-' <br /> <br />The City Attorney presented, discussed and read for the first <br />time the title of Ordinance No. 1019, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE OF <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 343 OF SAID CITY." <br /> <br />The City Attorney added that the effect of this ordinance is to <br />set up a new schedule of water rates, to become effective as to <br />all water billed on and after August 1, 1958. <br /> <br />Councilman Jacobi moved that the reading of the full body of <br />Ordinance No. 1019 be waived, which motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Reibold and carried on roll call vote as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Balser, Jacobi, Reibold, Phillips <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Camphouse <br /> <br />Councilman Jacobi further moved that Ordinance No. 1019 be <br />introduced. Said motion seconded by Councilman Balser and <br />carried on roll call vote as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Balser, Jacobi, Reibold, Phillips <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Camphouse <br /> <br />The City Attorney presented, discussed and read ,the title of <br />Resolution No. 3024, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, CONSENTING TO THE COMMENCE- <br />MENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ARCADIA <br />OF CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY IN THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA, CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF ARCADIA AND <br />DESIGNATED AS ANNEXATION NO. l7-A SOUTHWEST ARCADIA INHABITED." <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />6-17-58 <br />
