February 4, 1958. <br /> <br />The invocation was offered by Rev. Clair Widerhoft, Pastor of <br />Our Saviour Lutheran Church. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Phillips led in the pledge of allegiance to the <br />flag. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Councilmen Camphouse, Jacobi, Phillips and Reibold <br />Mayor Dennis <br /> <br />The minutes of the regular council meeting of January 2l and the <br />adjourned regular meeting of January 28, 1958, not having been <br />distributed to the Council in sufficient time, were not approved <br />at this meeting. <br /> <br />Improvement of Louise Avenue between LeRoy Avenue and Christina <br />Street and LeRoy Avenue between Louise Avenue and Santa Anita <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Phillips announced that this is the time and <br />place for hearing protests or objections against the improvement <br />of Louise Avenue and LeRoy Avenue, as described in Resolution of <br />Intention No. 2965. <br /> <br />The City Clerk reported that she had ,the Affidavit of Posting <br />and the Affidavit of Publication and the Affidavit of Mailing. <br /> <br />Councilman Reibold moved that the Affidavits of Posting, <br />at ion and Mailing be received into the record and filed. <br />seconded by Councilman Camphouse and passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Public- <br />Motion <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Phillips inquired of the City Clerk if she had <br />received any written protests and she replied that she had <br />received no protests. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Phillips declared the hearing open. He asked <br />if anyone wished to be heard in opposition to the matter. No one <br />appearing, Mayor Pro Tempore Phillips requested a motion to be <br />made to close the hearing. Councilman Reibold moved that the <br />hearing be closed. Councilman Camphouse seconded the motion and <br />it was carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The City Attorney then presented, discussed and read the title of <br />Resolution No. 2977, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING WORK TO BE DONE ON <br />LOUISE AVENUE.AND LE ROY AVENUE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION OF <br />INTENTION NO. 2965." <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Reibold that the reading of the full <br />body of Resolution No. 2977 be waived. Said motion was seconded <br />by Councilman Jacobi and carried on roll call vote as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Camphouse, Jacobi, Phillips and Reibold <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Dennis <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />2-4-58 <br />
