E. Dunne <br />for a business permit to install and operate one skill game at 151 East <br />Huntington Drive, and inquired if anyone desired to speak either in <br />favor of or in opposition to the granting of such permit. <br /> <br />No one desiring to speak either pro or con, Councilman Camphouse moved <br />that the hearing be closed, which motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Balser and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilman Camphouse further moved that Council approve the application <br />of R. E. Dunne and authorize the granting of a business permit to him for <br />the installation and operation of one skill game at 151 East Huntington <br />Drive. Motion seconded by Councilman Phillips and carried on roll call <br />vote as follows: <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Balser, Jacobi, Phillips, Reibold <br />NOES: Councilman Camphouse <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Mayor Reibold declared the hearing open on the application of Wm. A. Nemeth, <br />Secretary-Treasurer of Galvin Chevrolet, 850 South Baldwin Avenue, for a <br />business permit to establish an used car sales lot at 415 East Huntington <br />Drive. <br /> <br />No one desiring to speak either in favor of or in opposition to the grant- <br />ing of such permit Councilman Jacobi moved that the hearing be closed. <br />Councilman Phillips seconded the motion and it was carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilman Jacobi further moved that Council approve the application of <br />Wm. A. Nemeth and authorize the granting of a business permit to said <br />applicant for the purpose of establishing an used car sales lot at 415 <br />East Huntington Drive. Councilman Phillips seconded the motion and it <br />was carried on roll call vote as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Balser, Camphouse, Jacobi, Phillips, Reibo1d <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Mayor Reibo1d declared the hearing open on the proposed budget for the <br />fiscal year 1959-60 and inquired if anyone desired to be heard either in <br />favor of or in opposition to the proposed budget. <br /> <br />The City Clerk advised that she had on file an Affidavit of Publication <br />for the holding of said hearing; also that she had received no written <br />communications on the matter. <br /> <br />No one desiring to be heard, Councilman Balser moved that the hearing be <br />closed. Motion seconded by Councilman Jacobi and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Whereupon the City Attorney presented, discussed, explained the content <br />and read the title of Resolution No. 3141, entitled: lOA RESOLUTION OF <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING OFFICIAL <br />BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1959-60." <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Councilman Balser moved that the reading of the full body of Resolution <br />No. 3141 be waived. Motion seconded by Councilman Phillips and carried <br />on roll call vote as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Balser, Camphouse, Jacobi, Phillips, Reibold <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Councilman Balser moved that Resolution No. 3141 be adopted.
