<br />,5otf?/' <br /> <br />ORDINANCE <br />No. 1088 <br />(Reintroduced) <br /> <br />ORDINANCE <br />No, 1089 <br />(Introduced) <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />motion which was carried on roll call vote as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Balser, Butterworth, Reibold, Camphouse <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Phillips <br /> <br />The City Attorney advised that in connection with Ordinance No. 1088, <br />which had been introduced at the Council meeting of June 21, 1960, re- <br />classifying property at 623 WeSt Duarte Road in Zone CoO, no dispo- <br />sition had been made of the request for Zone D in connection 'with said <br />property. He added that if it be Council's desire to include Zone D in <br />said reclassification Ordinance No. 1088 should be amended to reclassify I <br />the property in Zone D as well as in Zone CoO, and reintroduced as <br />amended. , <br /> <br />Whereupon Councilman Butterworth moved that Ordinance No. 1088 be re- <br />introduced as amended to provide for the addition of Zone D restrictions <br />and then Councilman Reibold seconded the motion which was carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />The City Attorney then presented Ordinance No. 1088 as thus amended, <br />entitled: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, <br />CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 623 WEST <br />DUARTE ROAD IN SAID CITY IN ZONE CoO AND ZONE D (ARCHITECTURAL OVERLAY)." <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Balser, seconded by Councilman Reibold and carried <br />on roll call vote as follows that the reading of the full body of <br />Ordinance No. 1088 be waived: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Balser, Butterworth, Reibold, Camphouse <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Phillips <br /> <br />Councilman Balser further moved that Ordinance No. 1088 be reintroduced <br />as amended, Councilman Butterworth seconded the motion which was <br />carried on roll call vote as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Balser, Butterworth, Reibold, Camphouse <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Phillips <br /> <br />The City Attorney presented for the first time, explained the content and <br />read the title of Ordinance No. 1089, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, REESTABLISHING CERTAIN REAL <br />PROPERTY IN ZONE R-l AND RECLASSIFYING TO ZONES R-2, P AND C-2 CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY IN ANNEXATION NO. 17-A, SOUTHWEST ARCADIA INHABITED." <br /> <br />The City Attorney added that the zoning on the west side of Baldwin Avenue <br />and the south side of Duarte Road west of Baldwin Avenue was broken into I <br />three sections, some of which has already been acted upon, i.e. the <br />southerly and westerly portions; that the zoning on the portion in <br />question at this time had been reconsidered by the Planning Commission <br />and their recommendation reaffirmed and that said Ordinance No. 1089 was <br />drawn in accordance with their recommendations. <br /> <br />At the request of Councilman Butterworth, Mr. L. M. Talley, Planning <br />Secretary, outlined the area in question'on the map, which extended north <br />of Lemon Avenue to the rear of the property on Duarte Road and exclusive <br />of Annexation No, 14. <br /> <br />Councilman Balser moved that the reading of the full body of Ordinance <br />No. 1089 be waived.
