<br />I <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />No. 3214 <br /> <br />11'l))J;:.AJ:Jl <br /> <br />CITY CLERK <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />:l.11DEXED <br /> <br />/^vI ~ r <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />04834 <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA <br /> <br />ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />JANUARY 26, 1960 <br /> <br />Pursuant to the order of adjournment of the regular meeting of the City <br />Council of January 19, 1960, the City Council of the City of Arcadia met <br />in regular adjourned session in the Council Chamber of the City Hall at <br />7:30 P.M., January 26, 1960. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT : <br /> <br />Councilmen Balser, Phillips, Reibold <br />Councilmen Camphouse, Jacobi <br /> <br />The City Attorney presented, explained the content and read the title of <br />Resolution No. 3214, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING, CREATING AND ESTABLISHING TAX <br />DISTRICTS WITHIN SAID CITY." <br /> <br />The City Attorney added that this is the same type of resolution adopted <br />by the Council January 6, 1959 and is for the purpose of establishing the <br />various portions of the city, including Annexation No. l7-A and No. 19 <br />(Revised) within the various tax districts, which districts must be <br />established and recorded with the Board of Equalization and the Assessor's <br />and Tax Collector's offices prior to February 1st. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Phillips, seconded by Councilman Balser and carried <br />on roll call vote as follows that the reading of the full body of <br />Resolution No. 3214 be waived: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Balser, Phillips, Reibold <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmen camphouse, Jacobi <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Phillips, seconded by Councilman Balser and carried <br />on roll call vote as follows that Resolution No. 3214 be adopted: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Balser, Phillips, Reibold <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmen camphouse, Jacobi <br /> <br />A discussion was held regarding the necessity in the City Clerk's office <br />of temporary clerical assistance at the present time; that the current <br />budget does not provide for such coverage. Mayor Reibold and Councilmen <br />Phillips and Balser expressed themselves as being of the opinion that <br />such assistance is needed.
