Willar~ C. Dorsey, Pastor of the <br />Arcadia Christian Church. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Camphouse led' in the pledge of aHegiance to the flag, <br /> <br />PRESENT : <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Councilmen Balser, camphouse, Jacobi, Phillips <br />Mayor Reibold <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Phillips, seconded by Councilman camphouse an~ <br />carried unanimously that the minutes of the Regular Meeting of January <br />5, 1960, as submitted' in writing, be approved. <br /> <br />PENDING AGENDA Mayor Pro Tempore Camphouse called for items 4 and 5 of the Pending <br />Agenda, <br /> <br />HEALTH AND ITEM 4: Councilman Balser presented the name of Mr, John T, Dorrity, <br />SANITATION 932 Victoria Drive, Arcadia, to fill the vacancy on the Health and <br />COMMISSION Sanitation Commission created by the resignation of Dr. C, S. Merrill, <br />(Dorrity) _:\land moved that Mr. Dorrity be appointed to fill such vacancy, the <br />~~v~~~ appointment to end' June 30, 1962. Winslow, <br />245 Longley Way, to fill the vacancy on the Personnel Board created by <br />the resignation of Mr, Joseph Staller, and moved that Mr. Winslow be <br />appointed to fill such vacancy, the appointment to end June 30, 1963, <br />Councilman Phillips seconded the motion and it was carried unanimously, <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Camphouse declared the hearing open on the application <br />of Mr. Sam W, Post for a business permit to conduct a private patrol <br />service of business locations and' private homes, and inquired if anyone <br />in the audience desired to address the Council either in favor of or in <br />opposition to the application, <br /> <br />No one desiring to be heard Councilman Phillips moved that the hearing <br />be closed, which motion was seconded by Councilman Jacobi and carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilman Phillips further moved that Council approve the application of <br />Mr, Sam W, Post for a business permit to conduct a private patrol <br />service of business locations and private homes as specified in the <br />,application. Councilman Balser seconded the motion and it was carried <br />unanimously, <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Camphouse declared the hearing open on the application of <br />Mr. Don MCLeod for a business permit to conduct an auction at 122 West <br />Las Tunas Drive (Madison T, V, Service) on January 31, 1960', from 11:00' <br />A,M. to 5:00 P,M. of said day, and inquired' if anyone in the audiilnce <br />desired to address the Council either in favor of or in opposition to the <br />application, <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />1-19-60, <br />
