Davis Barnard, Arcadia Presbyterian Church <br />, <br /> <br />Mayor Elton D. Phillips <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Councilman Balser, Butterworth, Reibold, Turner, Phillips. <br />None <br /> <br />The Minutes of the City Council meeting of November 19, 1963 were <br />held over until the next regular meeting. <br />, , <br /> <br />CONTINUED from the meeting of November 19, 1963 - Planning Com- <br />mission Resolution No. 498 recommending limiting height of all <br />future buildings' to two stories or 35 feet i~ all zones except <br />Zone 'H' Special Height Zone. This matter was placed on the Pending <br />Agenda awaiting the outcome of the determination on Zone 'H' areas. <br />(Hearing has been closed). <br /> <br />Councilman Reibold explained for the benefit of the school students <br />in attendance the reason for the continuation of the Hearing on <br />building regulations. <br /> <br />The Hearing declared open on the proposed Annexation No. 3l Unin- <br />habited. The City Clerk advised that she had on file l) affidavit <br />of publication and 2) affidavit of mailing; ~lso that no written <br />protests had been filed. <br /> <br />No one desiring to be heard on the matter,' MOTION by Councilman Turner~ <br />seconded by Councilman'Reibold and carried unanimously that the <br />hearing be closed. <br /> <br />Councilman Reibold MOVED that the City Attorney be instructed to pre- <br />pare documents necessary to proceed. Motion seconded by, Councilman <br />Turner and carri~d unanimously. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Resolution Nos. 502 and 503 recommending areas to <br />be placed in Zone 'H' in both commercial and residential areas in <br />West Arcadia; both matters requiring public hearings before the City <br />Council, same were scheduled as follows: <br /> <br />Res. No. 502 (commercial area into Zone 'H' ) <br /> JANUARY 7, 1963 8 P.M. <br />Res. No. 503 (commercial and residential not to be placed <br /> in Zone 'Hr) <br /> JANUARY 21, 1963 8 P.M. <br /> <br />On MOTION of Councilman Butterworth, seconded by Councilman Balser, <br />and carried unanimously that the report on the State clearance of the <br />freeway route be received and filed.
