Motion seconded <br />by Councilman Butterworth and carried unani~ous1y. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Resolution No. 490 recommending approval of a zone <br />variance request to the American Lutheran Church for the erection of a <br />church and related facilities on lots 11 and 12 and portions of lots <br />lO and 13 of Tract No. 6074 on the south side of Duarte Road west of <br />Santa Anita Avenue. <br /> <br />Councilman Reibold MOVED that the recommendation of the Planning <br />Commission, embodied in its Resolution No. 490 be approved and that a <br />zone variance for the purposes of and affecting the property therein <br />described be approved upon conditions recommended by the Planning <br />Commission in said Resolution No. 490; and that the City Attorney present <br />the appropriate resolution, Councilman Balser seconded the motion which <br />was carried unanimously, <br /> <br />Whereupon the City Attorney presented, explained the content and read <br />the title of Resolution No. 3609, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE <br />FOR THE ERECTION OF A CHURCH AND RELATED FACILITIES ON LOTS 1l AND 12 <br />AND PORTIONS OF LOTS lO AND 13 OF TRACT NO, 6074 ON THE SOUTH SIDE <br />OF DUARTE ROAD WEST OF SANTA ANITA AVENUE IN SAID CITY." <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilman Reibo1d, seconded by Councilman Balser and carried <br />on roll call vote as follows that the reading of the full body of <br />Resolution No, 3609 be waived: <br /> <br />" ' <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Balser, Butterworth, Reibo1d, Phillips <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Turner <br /> <br />Councilman Reibo1d further MOVED that Resolution No. 3609 be adopted. <br />Motion seconded by Councilman Balser and carried on roll call vote as <br />follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Balser, Butterworth, Reibo1d, Phillips <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Turner <br /> <br />The City Manager presented to the Council a proposed agreement between <br />the City and State of California covering the construction of the <br />Foothill Freeway through the City of Arcadia. He then summarized in <br />comprehensive form the events encompassed in the considerations <br />entailed in the adoption by the California Highway Commission of the <br />freeway route through the City, the development of off ramp locations <br />and design, street openings and closings, elevations and numerous <br />details relating to location and construction. <br /> <br />3, <br /> <br />8-6-63 <br />
