Ted Cummins, Arcadia Friends Church <br /> <br />Mayor Conrad T. Reibold <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Councilmen Balser, Considine, Forman, Turner, Reibold <br />None <br /> <br />On MOTION by Councilman <br />unanimously carried the <br />16, 1965 were APPROVED. <br />due to his absence from <br /> <br />Balser, seconded by Councilman Forman and <br />Minutes of the regular meeting of November <br />Councilman Considine abstained from voting <br />said meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Reibold declared the hearing open on the application of Clare <br />L. Hoke, dba Huntington Motors, for a business permit to conduct a <br />used car sales lot at 154 E. Huntington Drive. No one desiring to <br />be heard the hearing was CLOSED on MOTION by Councilman Turner, <br />seconded by Councilman Forman and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilman Balser, seconded by Councilman Forman and <br />carried unanimously the issuance of a business permit was APPROVED <br />subject to the condition that the contiguous property at 151 E. Alta <br />Street be used for parking purposes only and not for used car sales. <br /> <br />Mayor Reibold declared the hearing open on Planning Commission <br />recommendation as contained in its Resolution No. 570 concerning <br />regulations applicable to Zones C-2 and C-3 (Commercial zones). <br />Included therein: regulations pertaining to parking, signs, <br />landscaping and lighting. No one desiring to be heard the hearing <br />was CLOSED on MOTION by Councilman Forman, seconded by Councilman <br />Considine and carried unanimously. Discussion ensued and modifi- <br />cations were agreed upon. <br /> <br />MOTION was then made by Councilman Turner, seconded by Councilman <br />Forman and carried unanimously that Planning Commission recommen- <br />dations as set forth in its Resolution No. 570 be approved with <br />modifications as indicated: <br /> <br />Sections 9263.3.9 <br />9264.3.9 <br /> <br />2 1/2' instead of 5' for the <br />placement of wheel stops <br /> <br />Sections 9263.3 .15A <br />9263.3.15B <br />9264.3.15A <br />9264.3.15B <br /> <br />Walls - solid decorative masonry wall <br /> <br />Sections 9263.4.7 <br />9264.4.7 <br /> <br />Any free standing sign <br /> <br />Sections 9263.6.1 <br />9264.6.1 <br /> <br />Lighting - from 10 to 15 ft. in height <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />12-7-65 <br />
