Forman <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Councilmen Arth; Butterworth, Hage, Forman <br />Councilman Considine <br /> <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 6, 1966 were APPROVED <br />as submitted in writing on MOTION by Councilman Arth, seconded by <br />Councilman Rage and carried unanimously. Councilman Butterworth <br />abstained from voting as he was absent during portions of said <br />meeting. <br /> <br />The Minutes of the Adjourned Regular Meeting of December 10, 1966 <br />were APPROVED as submitted in writing on MOTION by Councilman <br />Butterworth, seconded by Councilman Hage and carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Forman abstained from voting as he was absent during a portion <br />of said meeting. <br /> <br />Request for waiver of specified prov1s10ns of the Arcadia Municipal <br />Code Section 8130.27 to allow the construction of an industrial <br />building on the south side of Clark Street between Peck Road and <br />MYltle Avenue. It was explained that the proposed building is a <br />desirable one on the one improved street in the area; that said <br />street is included in plans for the future; that the applicant, <br />Hubert Manning, has agreed to meet all requirements at the time of <br />other developments. <br /> <br />Mayor Forman declared the hearing open and Lawrence Vanni, repre- <br />senting the applicant, addressed Council at length; stating in part <br />that the industrial business employs fifteen persons and grosses <br />annually sales of approximately $450,000. He referred to a <br />communication dated December 1, 1966 addressed to the City Manager <br />which was made part of the record on MOTION by Councilman Butterworth, <br />seconded by Councilman Arth and carried unanimously. Mr. Vanni <br />continued that he offers on behalf of his client, Mr. Manning, to <br />enter into any reasonable agreement with the City to commit irrevo- <br />cably to the development of the area consistent with plans including <br />the granting to the City necessary property for street purposes, <br />water lines, sewers, etc, which steps would be taken by the granting <br />of easements. <br /> <br />No one else desiring to speak to the matter the hearing was CLOSED <br />on MOTION by Councilman Arth, seconded by Councilman Hage and <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />12-20-66 <br />
