<br />I <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />MINUTE <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />DECLARATION <br />AGENCY <br />MEMBER <br /> <br />G & S <br />TOWING RENT <br /> <br />OFF ICE PIANS <br />(Fourth & <br />Huntington) <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT TO <br />DATE CERTAIN <br /> <br />t <br /> <br />, <br />I <br />, <br /> <br />"'- <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />ARCADIA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />APRIL 18, 1978 <br /> <br />The Arcadia Redevelopment Agency met in regular session on <br />April 18, 1978 <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Members Gilb, Margett, Pellegrino, Saelid, Parry <br />None <br /> <br />On MOTION by Member Margett, seconded by Member Saelid and <br />unanimously the minutes of the regular meeting of March 21 <br />APPROVED. <br /> <br />carried <br />were <br /> <br />Pursuant to the Redevelopment Law a new member of the Agency must <br />declare if he owns property in a redevelopment area. Whereupon <br />Member Pellegrino made the following statement for the record: <br /> <br />"I, DONALD D. PELLEGRINO, HEREBY DECLARE THAT I AM THE OWNER OF <br />RESIDENTIAL INCOME PROPERTY LOCATED AT 129, 135, 139 ALTA STREET, <br />ARCADIA, CA., IN THE ARCADIA REDEVELOPMENT AREA." <br /> <br />In connection with the construction at 130 E. Santa Clara Street the <br />property leased to G & S Towing SerVice was excavated to install <br />underground utility services,,' Because .of, these requirements G & S <br />were not able to fully-use 'the-'lot during portions of March and <br />April and to compensate for this loss the staff recommended rent <br />for the month of May be reduced by $150.00. (The monthly rent is <br />$300). It was MOVED by Member Gilb, seconded by Member Saelid and <br />carried on roll call vote as follows that the rent for the month <br />of May be reduced by $150. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Members Gilb, Margett, Pellegrino, Saelid, Parry <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />The Agency received plans for an office development at 334 E. <br />Huntington Drive. These have been reviewed and approved by the <br />Public Works, Planning and Building Divisions, however, because <br />the project is in the redevelopment area they require Agency <br />approval. <br /> <br />The owner, Ken Mullen, responded to questions concerning construction <br />material and landscaping. Recommendations were considered and it <br />was MOVED by Member Gilb, seconded by Member Saelid and carried <br />unanimously that the development plans be approved and that the <br />Agency staff in cooperation with the Planning Department prepare a <br />sketch landscape planting layout to provide the developer with a <br />design in implementing the said recommendations, and that these <br />landscaping plans meet all requirements. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned to April 27 at 4 p.m. in the Conference Room, <br /> <br />~cc:,f2, <br /> <br />Ch irman ARA <br /> <br /> <br />~p~~~~~ <br /> <br />Secretary ARA <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />ARA <br />4-18-78 <br />
