<br />1 ~" "" <br /> <br />HEARING <br />PARTICIPATION <br />AGREEMENT, <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />ARA 18 <br />ADOPTED <br /> <br />1 "''''''10' <br />ARA 19 <br />ADOPTED <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />ARCADIA COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />AUGUST 5, 1975 <br /> <br />The Arcadia Redevelopment Agency met in regular session on August 5, <br />1975 at 8 p.m. in the Arcadia City Hall Council Chamber. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Members Lauber, Scott, Gilb <br />Members Saelid, Helms <br /> <br />On MOTION by Member Scott, seconded by Member Lauber and carried <br />unanimously Members Helms and Saelid were excused. <br /> <br />Participation Agreement and proposed sale of city property at 211-219 <br />N. First Avenue in. the Central Redevelopment Project to John J. and <br />'Anna M'. Trlica and Tr il'c 0'; Inc. Council received a participation <br />agreement proposed to be entered into between the Agency and Trilco, <br />Inc., for the purpose of assisting the company in its efforts to <br />expand an existing building by up to 16,000 sq. ft., to meet growth <br />needs. The agreement provides for the acquisition of the former <br />railroad depot site located on the north side of the main line A.T &S. F. <br />right-of-way between First Avenue and St. Joseph Street where parking is <br />proposed for the new addition. Particulars of the agreement and a rough <br />estimate of costs were set forth in staff report dated July 11, 1975. <br />It was noted that if this expenditure is approved the funds must be <br />transferred by Council action from the Capital Projects Account to the <br />Agency Account. <br /> <br />Chairman Gilb declared the hearing open and no one desiring to be <br />heard the hearing was CLOSED on MOTION by. Member Scott ,. seconded by <br />Chairman Gilb and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The City Attorney then presented, explained the content and read the <br />title of Resolution ARA 18, entitled: "RESOLUTION FINDING AND DE- <br />TERMINING IHA T SUBSEQUENT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NEED NOT BE <br />PREPARED FOR THE PROPOSED SALE AND DEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY <br />IN THE CENTRAL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT". <br /> <br />It was MOVED by Member Lauber, seconded by Member Scott and carried on <br />roll call vote as follows that Resolution No. ARA 18 be and it is hereby <br />ADOPTED. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Members Lauber, Scott, Gilb <br />None <br />Members Saelid, Helms <br /> <br />The City Attorney presented, explained the content and read the title <br />of Resolution ARA 19, entitled: "RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED SALE <br />OF REAL PROPERTY IN THE CENTRAL REDEVELOPMENT'PROJECT; APPROVING THE <br />PROPOSED PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT PERTAINING THERETO; AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE EXECUTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SAID PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT." <br /> <br />It was MOVED by Member Scott, seconded by Member Lauber and carried on <br />roll call vote as follows that Resolution No. ARA 19 be and it is hereby <br />ADOPTED. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Members Lauber, Scott, Gilb <br />None <br /> <br />Members Saelid, Helms <br /> <br />8-5-75 <br /> <br />- 1 - <br />
