Johnson, Community Foursquare Church of Arcadia <br /> <br />" ' <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Butterworth <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Councilmen Considine, Hage, Helms, Butterworth <br />Mayqr Arth <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilman Considine, seconded by Councilman Helms and <br />carried unanimpusly that the minutes of the regular meeting of <br />June 3, 1969, be and they are hereby APPROVED. <br />i <br /> <br />The City Council accepted the resignation of Personnel Board member <br />John F. Lillic,op who is moving to Santa ~~ria. The appointment to <br />this unexpired term will be made to expire June 30, 1972. <br /> <br />,I <br /> <br />Councilman Helms referred to the Youth Commission which was recently <br />, ' <br />created by this Council and advised that an election for its members <br />has been accomplished. He submitted the n~es of Ron Curry, Chairman, <br />"" <br />Laurie Hunter, ',Vice Chairman, and Nancy Tankers ley, Secretary, from <br />the Arcadia High School. Maureen Johnson and Nancy Lindberg from <br />'I' , <br />Dana Jr. High School. Janice Jackson and ~en Eggleston from First <br />Avenue Jr. High School'. Julie Marine and Sydney Womeck from Foothi 11 <br />Jr. High Schoot. He then MOVED that the foregoing be nominated. <br />Motion seconded by Councilman Considine. Mayor Pro Tempore Butterworth <br />called for any, further nominat ions and hearing none the following roll <br />, , <br />call vote was taken: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Cou~cilmen Considine, Hage, Helms, Butterworth <br />None <br />Counctlman Arth <br /> <br />The aforesaid Commission members were declared duly NOMINATED, and <br />three of the members were present and introduced. It was noted that <br />the meetings of this Commission will be held in the Conference Room <br />on the 2nd and 4th Mondays at 7:30 P.M., a~d any special meetings <br />and forums will be conducted in the Council Chamber. Mayor Pro <br />Tempore Butter~orth will accommodate Coun~ilman Helms by attending <br />the first meeting of the commission on June 23. Councilman Helms <br />explain~d the'proposed function of the ne~'commission and Council <br />recognized th~; efforts and accomplishments of Doug McAdams and <br />Peter De Witt'. <br /> <br />BUDGETARY Annually, before the close of the fiscal year, it is necessary for <br />TRANSFERS Council to approve the transfer of certain appropriations and <br />APPROVED reserves. The report of the City Manager and Controller dated June <br />4'; , ~',1 12, 1969 (on 'f'ile in the office of the City Clerk) itemizes and <br />:T' .r-M4tP"'V " <br />~ details revenues and transfers.
