Ted Cummins, Arcadia Friends Church. <br /> <br />Mayor Robert J. Considine <br /> <br />Present: <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmen Arth, Forman, Rage, Considine <br />Councilman Butterworth. <br /> <br />The Minutes of the regular meeting of March 19, 1968, were <br />APPROVED on MOTION by Councilman Arth, seconded by Councilman <br />Rage and carried unanimously. The Minutes of the adjourned <br />regular meetings of March 22 and 27, 1968, were APPROVED on <br />MOTION by Councilman Arth, seconded by Councilman Rage and <br />carried unanimously. Councilman Forman abstained from voting <br />due to his absence from said two meetings. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Resolution No. 628 recommending the <br />a~endment of the Arcadia Municipal Code by amending sections <br />pertaining to height of light standards pursuant to a study <br />made by the Technical Study Committee wherein it was <br />recommended that the height in commercial areas be 15 feet <br />instead of the present 10 feet. <br />, <br /> <br />'l.J'/~')"'04M' C 'd' did h h' d d' . <br />, " . ayar onS1 l.ne ec are t e ear1.ng open an no one eS1r1.ng <br />t to be heard, the hearing was CLOSED on MOTION by Councilman <br />.v.. II ~:,. Forman, seconded by Councilman Rage and carried unanimously. <br />! Jl '"I,' , It was further MOVED by Councilman Forman, seconded by <br />..,...., . r' ~ COuncilman Rage and carried unanimously that the recommendation <br />of the Commission be SUSTAINED and that the City Attorney <br />prepare the appropriate ordinance effecting said amendment. <br /> <br />HEARING <br />(Light <br />standard <br />height) <br /> <br />p; <br /> <br />Planning Commission Resolution No. 629 recommending the amendment <br />of the Arcadia Municipal Code by amending sections pertaining to <br />landscaping requirements for residential areas; that landscaping <br />should be required in prescribed yard areas and to limit by fifty <br />percent the paving of front yards with driveways and accessways <br />, II in all of Arcadia's residential districts.
