<br />ORDINANCE NO. 30. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO ProVIDE FOR THE REGULATION OF POOL AND BILLIARD <br />ROOMS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA. <br /> <br />THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AHCADIA, DO ORDAIN AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, corporation, <br /> <br /> <br />firm, '::Ompany, association or club, as principal, agent, employee or other- <br /> <br /> <br />wise, within the corporate limits of the City of Arcadia to conduct the <br /> <br /> <br />business of public pool room or billiard room in any room, place or <br /> <br />building within said corporate limits. <br /> <br /> <br />Seotion 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this <br /> <br /> <br />Act shall be deemed guilty of a.misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof <br /> <br />shall be punished by a fine not exceeding Six Hundred ($600.00) Dollars, <br /> <br /> <br />or by imprisonment in the County Jail not exceeding six mont~or by both <br /> <br /> <br />such fine and imprisonment. <br /> <br /> <br />This ordinance shall take effect from and after midnight April, <br /> <br />30th. 1912. <br /> <br />The above ordinance was passed by the affirmative vote of at <br /> <br />least three trustees. <br /> <br />President of the Board of Trustees of <br />the City of Arcadia, Gouty of Los <br />Angeles, State of California. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />C .M. G1ty Clerk <br />City of Arcadia <br /> <br />The foregoing ordinance No. 30. was adopted by the Board of <br /> <br />Trustees of the City of Arcadia at a regular adjourned meeting of said <br /> <br />Board held on the 29th. day of April, 1912, by the affirmative vote of <br /> <br />at least three Trustees, to-wit: Ayes, Messrs. Unruh, Parker and Barnes. <br />Noes, Messrs. Stocker and Bowman. <br /> <br />Signed and approved this 29th. day of April, A. D. 1912. <br /> <br />H. A.
