<br />ORDINANCE NO. 10. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DA~~GE TO OR DESTRUCTION OF <br />TREES GROWING UPON THE STREE.'1'S OR A VENUES WI'l'HIN 'l'HE CITY OF ARCADIA. <br /> <br />THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO ORDAIN AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />It shall be and is hereby made unlawful for any person with- <br /> <br /> <br />out pe~mission of the Board of Trustees of the City of Arcadia being <br /> <br />first had and obtained, to mutilate, cut, damage or destroy any trees <br /> <br />hereafter or now growing upon any street or avenue or upon the border <br /> <br />of any street or avenue within the corporate limits of the City of <br />Arcadia. <br /> <br />Any person who shall violate the provisions of this ordinance <br /> <br />shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof <br /> <br />shall be punished by a fine not less than Ten Dollars nor more Than One <br /> <br />Hundred Dollars or by imprisonment not less than five days or by both <br /> <br />such fine and imprisonment. <br /> <br />The above ordinance was passed by the affirmative vote of <br />Trustees Baldwin, Lawrence, Unruh and Tucker and is signed and approved <br /> <br />this 2nd. day of May, 1904. <br /> <br />E.
