ARCADIA CITY COUNCIL <br /> REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2019 <br /> CALL TO ORDER — Mayor Tay called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL OF CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> PRESENT: Amundson, Beck, Chandler, Verlato, and Tay <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS — No one appeared. <br /> CLOSED SESSION <br /> a. Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1) to confer with legal counsel <br /> regarding the matter of Los Angeles SMSA Limited Partnership, a California limited <br /> partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless v. City of Arcadia; (United States District Court, <br /> Central District, Case No.: 2:17-cv-03778 DSF JEMx). <br /> b. Conference with Legal Counsel — Anticipated Litigation - Significant exposure to <br /> litigation pursuant to Government Code Sec. 54956.9(d)(2)—one (1) case. <br /> No reportable action was taken on the Closed Session items. <br /> The meeting ended at 6:55 p.m. <br /> Regular Meeting <br /> City Council Chamber, 7:00 p.m. <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER — Mayor Tay called the regular meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. <br /> 2. INVOCATION — Reverend Jolene Cadenbach, Arcadia Congregational Church <br /> 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE — Gene Glasco, Elected City Clerk <br /> 4. ROLL CALL OF CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> PRESENT: Amundson, Beck, Chandler, Verlato, and Tay <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> 5. REPORT FROM CITY ATTORNEY REGARDING CLOSED/STUDY SESSION ITEMS <br /> City Attorney Deitsch reported that prior to the regular meeting, the City Council met in a Closed <br /> Session to consider the two items listed on the posted agenda; and announced that the second <br /> matter pertained to the historical preservation ordinance, and that no reportable action was taken. <br /> I <br /> 1 02-19-2019 <br />
