ARCADIA CITY COUNCIL <br /> REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> m'"' TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2016 <br /> CALL TO ORDER— Mayor Kovacic called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m. <br /> INVOCATION - First Reader Kristin Bennett, First Church of Christ, Scientist <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE — Presentation of the Colors and National Anthem by the Arcadia <br /> Eagle Scout Troop 125 <br /> ROLL CALL OF CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> PRESENT: Council Member Beck, Tay, Chandler, and Kovacic <br /> ABSENT: Council Member Segal <br /> A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tern Chandler, seconded by Council Member Tay, to excuse <br /> Council Member Segal from this meeting. <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FROM CITY MANAGER REGARDING AGENDA ITEMS <br /> Assistant City Manager/Development Services Director Kruckeberg stated there was no <br /> supplemental agenda information. <br /> som <br /> ,, MOTION TO READ ALL ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS BY TITLE ONLY AND WAIVE <br /> THE READING IN FULL <br /> A motion was made by Council Member Tay, seconded by Mayor Pro Tern Chandler to read all <br /> ordinances and resolutions by title only and waive the reading in full. <br /> On behalf of the City Council and City Staff, Mayor Kovacic expressed sincere condolences to <br /> David and Vicky Lin on the loss of their sons, Anthony and William, who were tragically taken on <br /> January 21; he assured everyone that the Police Department is doing everything possible to <br /> ensure justice is served; and indicated that Arcadia is a safe and caring community that comes <br /> together in times of need to help one another. <br /> PRESENTATIONS <br /> a. Presentation of Mayor's Certificates to Arcadia Eagle Scout Troop 125 <br /> b. Presentation by L.A. County Assessor Jeffrey Pang's office representative Carol <br /> W.
