ARCADIA CITY COUNCIL <br /> REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2016 <br /> CALL TO ORDER— Mayor Beck called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL OF CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> PRESENT: Amundson, Chandler, Tay, Verlato, and Beck <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> April Verlato, appeared as a resident, and asked if the developer in the Fifth Avenue project entered <br /> into a reimbursement agreement with the City, and if a deposit was made to the City for <br /> reimbursement of the City's legal fees in this matter; she stated that she feels the City should be <br /> moving forward toward settlement; she expressed her disappointment and feels that the City should <br /> be meeting with the residents of Fifth Avenue to resolve this matter. <br /> CLOSED SESSION <br /> a. Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(2) to confer with legal counsel <br /> regarding anticipated litigation —one (1) case. <br /> No reportable action was taken on the Closed Session item. <br /> The meeting recessed at 7:01 p.m., and will reconvene after the open meeting to discuss <br /> Closed Session Item (b). <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> 7:00 p.m. <br /> CALL TO ORDER— Mayor Beck called the regular meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. <br /> INVOCATION — Pastor George Hooper, Church of the Good Shepherd <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE — Jason Kruckeberg, Assistant City Manager/Development <br /> Services Director <br /> ROLL CALL OF CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> PRESENT: Amundson, Chandler, Tay, Verlato, and Beck <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> REPORT FROM CITY ATTORNEY REGARDING CLOSED SESSION ITEMS <br /> City Attorney Deitsch announced that the City Council met in a Closed Session to consider the <br /> two items listed on the posted agenda under Closed Session; he stated that the City Council will <br /> recess after the open session to Closed Session in order to consider item (b) on the posted <br /> 1 11-01-2016 <br />
